Indexator's Rototilt® Rotation/Tilt Attachments
Indexator introduces Rototilt -- a revolutionary addition to the world of hydraulic excavator-mounted equipment. This new range of swiveling attachments, coupled between the excavator arm and a bucket or other tool, allows the tool to be SIMULTANEOUSLY ROTATED AND TILTED, with 360° continuous rotation and 40° side tilt.
The advantages are obvious for any job on a worksite that includes obstacles, problem ground contours, or restricted working space. You can approach the work area from any angle... dig under and around objects with precision… and operate in tight spaces that may otherwise be very difficult or inaccessible.
Rototilts are robustly constructed with electronic/hydraulic control systems. They come in a range of sizes suitable for excavators of 3 to 30 metric ton capacity.
Rototilt rotation/tilt attachments feature:
- Easy installation. The Rototilt includes a low-profile quick coupler with hydraulic locking function. Direct mounting can also be accomplished with the patented "Multi-attachment" mount. Mounts are available for most excavators and attachments.
- Precision Control. The hydraulic/electronic control system steers rotation, tilt, the hydraulic quick coupler and other hydraulic functions. Alternative systems are available that will match your equipment and work conditions.
- Tilt capacity suited to the job. Depending on Rototilt model, the tilt mechanism may be a compact single-acting cylinder, excellent for confined spaces, or a double acting cylinder for high torque and great precision. Midsize Rototilts offer a choice of either type.
- Powerful, durable rotation design. The rotor is a high-powered worm gear carried by a heavy-duty sliding bearing, operating in oil for long working life. Rotation is unlimited in both directions. The gear self-locks, and acts as a brake during excavation.
