There is a TEI rock drilling attachment that will fit your carrier, and give you a drilling setup that will complete your project quickly and efficiently. Applications include injection anchor installation, blast and utility holes, geothermal wells, rock bolting, soil nails and tiebacks. Drills are available for:
Excavators — Backhoes — Skid steers — Mini-excavators
HEM (Hydraulic Excavator Mount) Models 300, 500, 1000, and 40ED.
Extremely useful when an excavator's extra reach is needed, such as rock bolting on cliffs or reaching over a wall that has no lower access.
Carriers: Models 300, 500, and 1000 cover an excavator weight range between 13 and 25 tons; model 40ED is intended for use on 20 ton and larger excavators.
Features of the HEM 300, 500, and 1000 drill packages:
The radio-controlled 40ED model is designed to install soil nails and tiebacks in a single pass, and works with a wide variety of hydraulic percussion drills and rotary heads. It features 40-foot drill travel with a 5-foot crowd cylinder and pullback of either 9000 lbs. or 12,000 lbs.
HBM (Hydraulic Backhoe Mount) Models 300 and 500 (Percussion), and 350R (Rotary).
Choose these drills when a backhoe's ability to get around quickly is a high priority; ideal for pipeline blasting, landscaping and small quarries.
HCM (Hydraulic Skid Steer Mount) Models 300 (Percussion) and 350R (Rotary).
These drills are designed to take advantage of the increased availability and power of today's skid steer loaders. The 300 is excellent for small quarry blasting, limited access drilling for foundation repair and tieback installation. The 350R is used with augers, down hole hammers and drag/roller bits for micropiles, soil nails, tiebacks, small wells, guard rails and fencing.
MME (Mini-Excavator Mount) Model 250 (Percussion). The MME drill package fills the need for smaller, more efficient drilling attachments. Ideal for blasting, fencing, foundation repair, earth retention and geothermal work.
Carrier: For use with 5 to 8 ton mini-excavators
