TEI Percussion/Drifter Drills
TEI's line of hydraulic rotary-percussion drifter drills comes in three models, the TE250, TE300, and TE500, all available with multiple configurations. They are excellent for primary and secondary hole drilling in all rock formations including fractured overburden. Their many applications include blasting, grouted anchors, fencing, micropiles, and foundation repair.
Carriers: Model TE250: intended for smaller excavators; Model TE300: 10-20 ton excavators; Model 500: 20-30 ton excavators.
TE250, TE300, and TE500 Drifter Drill features:
- Produce a range of hole sizes (depending on model) between 1 3/8" and 3 1/2".
- Available with a wide range of shank adaptors.
- Produce between 80 and 250 ft. lbs. blow energy, depending on model.
- Produce maximum torques between 200 and 600 ft. lbs., depending on model; higher torque versions are available for Models 300 and 500.
- Sealed chuck end keeps debris and flushing water out of drill while sealing in lubrication.
- Large accumulators to control hydraulic shock, side-mounted for easy service.
- Hammer runs in special metal-alloyed bushings for extended service life; bushings are double-sealed at both ends to prevent contamination.
- Large diameter porting between valve and cylinder block reduce friction and pressure loss.
